Kings G League player reportedly arrested by FBI in connection with missing woman

Chance Comanche, a player for the Sacramento Kings’ G-League affiliate, was reportedly arrested Friday by a local FBI arrest team in connection with the disappearance of a woman in Las Vegas. 8 News Now in Las Vegas.

According to reports, a first-degree kidnapping warrant was issued for the 27-year-old Comanche in Las Vegas Justice Court on Friday, resulting in him being taken to the Sacramento County Jail.

stockton kings announced on friday They have released the Comanche but provided no further details. A team spokesperson reportedly declined further comment to 8 News Now.

The reported case involves Marayna Rodgers, a 23-year-old medical assistant from Washington state. Her relatives said they last saw her on December 6 while visiting Las Vegas with friends. Stockton Kings vs. Henderson, Nevada on Dec. 5, the day before Rodgers was reported missing, G League Ignite reports.

Comanche is reportedly the second person to be arrested in connection with the missing persons investigation. According to reports, the first one is 19-year-old Sakari Harnden, who also faces first-degree kidnapping charges and remains in a Las Vegas jail on $500,000 bail. The criminal complaint reportedly alleges that Harden held or detained Rogers against her will with the intent to kill her and/or cause bodily harm.

Harden reportedly faces unrelated theft charges in a separate case in Las Vegas for stealing at least one Rolex watch.

Comanche is reportedly scheduled to appear in Sacramento County Court on Tuesday.

The 6-foot-10, 210-pound big man played in one NBA game last season for the Portland Trail Blazers. He spent two years at Arizona State, going undrafted in 2017 and spending time in the G-League. Basketball League and Turkish Basketball League.
