AP Men’s Basketball Top 25: Undefeated Houston tops Kansas State, Seton Hall adds more chaos in Big East
Not much has changed for the top players in college basketball over the past week, but — if Big East play is any indication — that’s just around the corner.
Here’s everything you missed in Week 9 of the season, plus the latest AP men’s basketball poll.
Houston overtakes Hunter Dickinson, Kansas
It won’t be easy, but Kansas is firmly in the lead in the Big 12 tournament.

Seton Hall gets third Big East upset win
It’s time to talk about Seton Hall.
The Buccaneers suffered their third major upset of the season last week, this time beating Marquette University 78-75. Seton Hall didn’t exactly crack the rankings this week, but they received 34 votes, which puts them at No. 34 nationally. Marquette University dropped four spots to No. 11.

They also lost to the University of Iowa, Rutgers University, Baylor and USC this season. Only one of these teams is still ranked.
That makes it hard to judge the Buccaneers.
