Legacy Motor Club on Monday announced Ben Beshore as crew chief for John Hunter Nemechek and the No. 42 team for the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season.
Beshore serves as crew chief for Nemechek Racing in the 2023 NASCAR Xfinity Series. He led Joe Gibbs Racing to seven wins and a Championship 4 berth. Nemechek and Beshore will both return to NASCAR’s top series full-time next year and they will work together to win the championship in 2024.
Beshore expressed his feelings about joining Legacy Motor Club and working with John Hunter Nemechek again. He’s looking forward to building something special with the #42 team.
In a team press release, Beshore discussed joining the Legacy Car Club:
“I am excited to join the LEGACY MOTOR CLUB and continue to work with John Hunter in the Cup Series – we had great success last season. I look forward to helping the program become a perennial contender capable of competing at the highest level every year. It’s possible every week.”
During his NASCAR Cup career, Ben Beshore started 71 races, all with Kyle Busch. He served as a part-time captain for three games in 2017 and will team up with Busch in 2021-22.
The 42-year-old driver won 15 of his three starts with Busch Xfinity seriesworking with riders such as Nemechek, Busch and Harrison Burton.

The 26-year-old driver, who has a series-leading seven wins in Xfinity this season, will He returns to the Cup Series next season For the first time since 2020.
He feels blessed to have the opportunity to work with Ben Beshore again and looks forward to building a partnership for wins and championships.
John Hunter Nemechek said in a team press release:
