Bayley officially welcomes Asuka to the team damage control Last week on WWE SmackDown. Just a week before the 2023 WWE Survivor Series against Team Bianca Belair, the role model gave her faction’s T-shirt to the Queen of Tomorrow.
It is worth mentioning that the current Damage CTRL is very different from Bayley’s original idea. The former SmackDown Women’s Champion previously stated in an interview with BT Sport that she originally wanted Peyton Royce and Tegan Knox are in the group.
“Peyton Royce is the guy I really want. Tegan Knox is the guy I want. Over time, as people leave the company and things like that, a lot of people’s situations happen There have been changes, but Dakota has always been one of the OGs I always envisioned being on this team.” [H/T: Wrestling News]

Does Bailey have a different name for damage control?
The Hurt CTRL, like every other faction before it, has gone through numerous campaigns. The group did receive some backlash for its name when it first formed Debut at SummerSlam 2022. Bayley told Ariel Helwani that she gave her faction a different name than WWE.
“My first original, I wanted it to be called ‘Now.’ For me, it’s that I don’t care about the championships I won in the past, I don’t care about what happens next, like these girls are right here Here, what we’re going to do, now is all that matters. ‘Now’ was my first thought, but there’s a show called ‘Now’ or something like that. You know, it’s just legal stuff.” [H/T: Wrestling News]
