Trump’s Truth Social shares soar in first day of trading

Donald Trump’s social media platform Truth Social (DJT)’s stock price soared more than 40% on its first day of trading on Nasdaq on Tuesday afternoon.

At around 3 p.m., the stock price of Trump Media & Technology Group, the parent company of Truth Social, rose to more than $70, with the stock code “DJT” (Trump’s initials).
