Meghan Markle looks like a princess.
The former actress arrived in Los Angeles for Variety’s Power of Women event on Thursday night, looking as regal as ever in a cream off-the-shoulder midi dress by Proenza Schouler.
she paired $1,400 dress – Featuring front and side slits, she paired it with black pumps, a black clutch and simple gold jewelry.
She wore minimal makeup and styled her dark brown hair into a middle-parted bun.
although Talk to Variety On the red carpet, Markle, 42, reacted to the success of Suits, which recently ended in 2019.
“It was amazing to work with, the cast and crew were all amazing. We had such a great time,” she gushed.
“I’ve been on seven seasons, so that’s quite a lot,” she continued.

“But it’s hard to find a show these days that you can watch so many episodes in one sitting, so that might have something to do with it. But good shows last forever.”
She also hinted at the types of projects fans might see in the future from Archewell Productions, her and husband Prince Harry’s production company.
“[I want to make] “I would say ‘good,’ but not just that, but something that makes people feel something, right? And a sense of community,” she explains.
“But we have a lot of exciting things on the schedule,” she joked.
“I can’t wait to announce them, but I’m very proud of what we’re creating.”
She added: “My husband loves it too. It’s really fun.”
Harry, 41, did not join his wife on the red carpet at the event, which was themed around celebrating women.
Before Markle’s public appearance, her good friend Tyler Perry revealed that she was keeping a low profile and enjoying her time with Harry and their son Archie. at his Beverly Hills estate. 2020.
“They were holed up in my house for a long time. It was awesome,” he gushed on Kelly Ripa’s “Let’s Talk Off Camera” podcast on Wednesday.
“Every day. Every day they were there, I checked to see if anything was happening online. Nothing. [Paparazzi] Not even knowing, so they stayed there for weeks,” he continued.
“They were so happy. It was such a beautiful moment.”
The actress’ red carpet appearance also comes after an excerpt from royal expert Omid Scobie’s upcoming book: “End Game,” was released.
In it, Scobie claimed Markle had “left” the royal family, per person.
“Very early on [book-writing] “Some of the Meghan sources that I had really relied on early in the process were like, ‘You know what? She wants nothing to do with this,'” he claims in the book.
However, he said Harry felt he “still had unfinished business” regarding his relationship with the media and its often biased coverage of his wife.
As fans know, the pair stepped down as senior royals in 2020 and moved to the United States.
