Here are nine expert tips from the March episode that we’re excited to share with you and put into practice in our daily lives.

Don’t worry about actually taking out the trash, doing the dishes, or doing the laundry until later when you have more energy.

Want to grow food but don’t have enough light?Choose leafy plants. Not every plant needs a lot of sunlight. Yolanda Burrell, owner of Pollinator Farm and Gardens in Oakland, Calif., has a simple rule of thumb for sunlight: “If you pick fruit off a plant, then it needs more sunlight. If you just Eat the leaves, and you need less sunlight.” So tomatoes, squash, and cucumbers need sunlight to ripen. Leafy greens don’t require as much.
