Keith Urban Joins ‘The Voice’ Season 25 as Super Mentor


Keith Urban will serve as a super mentor in season 25 of NBC’s “The Voice.”

The season premieres on February 26 and is led by coaches including Chance the Rapper, Dan + Shay, John Legend and John Legend. Reba McEntireBeginning with the show on April 8, Urban will guide the remaining artists through battles, with each team preparing for the elimination rounds, where artists are paired with teammates but must choose their own songs to perform individually. Coaches will select elimination rounds where each coach has the opportunity to steal a singer from another coach.

Urban will release his 12th studio album later in 2024. The project, which has yet to be titled, will include already-released singles “Straight Line” and “Messed Up As Me.” Winner of four Grammy Awards, 13 Country Music Association Awards, 15 Academy of Country Music Awards and three American Music Awards.

Urban previously served as an advisor to coach Blake Shelton on Season 15 of The Voice. He also served as a coach on seasons 1, 10 and 11 of the Australian version of The Voice.

The Voice is produced by MGM Television, Warner Bros. Unscripted Television in association with Warner Horizon, and ITV Studios. John DeMoore created the series and serves as executive producer alongside Mark Burnett, Audrey Morrissey, Amanda Zucker, Kayla Thompson, Adam H. Schell and Barry Poznik .
