The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has an investment portfolio of more than $100 billion, including $47 billion in stock investments.

The investment portfolio is registered with the SEC under the name Ensign Peak Advisors and has lacked information disclosure for many years. which recently resulted in it paying $5 million to settle the charges It goes to great lengths to hide its investments.

The portfolio was not disclosed to the public until 2019, when a former Ensign Peak employee filed a whistleblower complaint claiming the fund should not have tax-exempt status because it did not engage in any charitable activities.

In a “60 Minutes” special earlier this year, the whistleblower alleged that the church’s investment arm Acting as a “secret hedge fund” disguised as a charity.

The church reports its stock holdings quarterly, with its most recent 13F filing revealing its highest holdings as of Sept. 30. These were the top 10 stocks held by the Mormon Church at the end of the third quarter.
