Yahoo Sports Special Report

Jake Neighbors’ ranking in the Yahoo leagues rose to 27% from 19% a week ago, while JJ Peterka jumped from 15% to 30%.

If you’re looking for a goalie to stream, Kaapo Kahkonen (5% roster) might be a worthy choice. New Jersey has two back-to-back situations this week, so Kahkonen and Jake Allen (37%) will likely split the starting lineup. Colorado’s Justus Annunen (12%) could make one or two starts this week, making him a potential backup as well.

Nick Schmaltz (29%) and Alexis Lafreniere (46%) earned non-goalie honorable mentions. Schmalz appeared on Line Change in early March and scored five goals and 21 points in 15 games. If Lafreniere can play, he’s worth acquiring, but time may be running out to bring him in.

Now, let’s take a look at this week’s under-the-radar advice for you to consider:

Jonathan Drouin, left guard, Colorado Avalanche (27% of roster)

A week ago, Drouin was just dropped from the recommended substitute list. He has five goals, 11 assists and 30 shots in his last 14 games. Drouin has had multiple points in four of the past six games. He has only 2 more consistent 50-pointers for the first time since the 2018-19 season. Drouin works well with prolific producers Nathan MacKinnon and Mikko Rantanen. This trio should be able to stay hot through Colorado’s four games.

Adam Henrique, C/L, Edmonton Oilers (25% of roster)

Enrique has scored three goals on eight shots in his past four games. He has been productive since moving into the second line alongside Leon Draisaitl at even strength. Enrique’s fantasy stock took a hit after the Ducks acquired him, but his new role and recent success make him an interesting short-term addition with the Oilers playing four games this week.

Tyler Bertuzzi, LB, Toronto Maple Leafs (19% played)

Bertuzzi has scored 11 of his 18 goals in his last 17 games while scoring 15 of his 37 points. He continued to improve his performance in the following games, scoring 6 goals and 2 assists in 8 games until March. Bertuzzi has scored 18 goals in those eight games, taking 12 shots and 12 hits. He played well with Auston Matthews and Max Domi.

Mikael Granlund, C/RW, San Jose Sharks (18% roster)

Despite San Jose’s offensive struggles in 2023-24, Granlund remains a fairly consistent scoring threat. Even though he was limited to 60 games this season, the 32-year-old forward led the team with 38 assists and 50 points. He’s averaging a career-high 20 minutes and 43 seconds per game, so fantasy managers don’t have to worry about his deployment. Granlund has notched at least 1 point in a game since mid-February.

During this time, he accumulated seven goals and 21 points in 21 games. Granlund also had 10 power-play points (1 goal, 9 assists) and 35 shots on goal during that span. He is on a four-game scoring spree with two goals and three assists heading into the Sharks’ four-game week.

Nick Bjugstad, center, Arizona Coyotes (12% played)

Bjugstad is another surprisingly productive player to keep an eye on. He needs just three more goals to equal his personal best of 24 in 2014-15, and five more points to equal his career-high of 49 in 2017-18. point. The 31-year-old striker has eight goals, five assists and 30 shots in his last 12 games. Bjugstad scored 4 goals and 3 assists in 6 consecutive games. He played between Clayton Keller and Nick Schmaltz. Top line for Coyotes.

Brandon Saad, LHP, St. Louis Blues (2% of roster)

Saad has been atop the scoring charts since mid-February, accounting for 11 goals, 17 points and 37 shots in the last 22 games. His four-game scoring spree, which included four goals and two assists, ended with a disappointing four-game stretch on Saturday. -0 loss to the Sharks. Before St. Louis’ four games, though, Saad should be considered for a fly in the deeper pool.
