The Los Angeles Clippers appear to be in trouble, with Kawhi Leonard making no secret of his disappointment with the team’s performance after trading for James Harden. In their last game, they lost to the Memphis Grizzlies 105-101, which was the team with the worst record in the Western Conference.
It will be difficult for the Clippers to beat the Grizzlies, who are without key players such as Ja Morant, Steven Adams and Brandon Clark.
At one point, Leonard called a pick on center Ivica Zubac and tried to generate some offense. After the pick was determined, Zubac rolled into the paint but did not actively defend his position in the low post.
He passed the ball to Norman Powell, who fouled the shot. Leonard Soon, he was confronting Zubac and telling him where the center was needed. Out of frustration, the two-time Finals MVP yelled at the center. Los Angeles called a timeout, and it took the two-way star a while to react. He walked to the bench.
“Yo!” Leonard shouted, “Just stand…get down!”
Later, Russell Westbrook also showed some frustration after replacing Harden, and when he walked to the bench, the audience could clearly see that he had “D**n” written on his mouth.
When the game came to an end, his teammates stood up to cheer for the team, but Westbrook remained calm and sat in his seat.

Kawhi Leonard talks about their struggles with Harden
The Clippers are doing their best to get things rolling, and Kawhi Leonard knows it’s going to take some time. After the 105-101 loss to Memphis, Leonard talked about what the team has gone through with Harden in past games.
“Obviously like I said, we have four guys on the floor who are used to running the ball and getting into a rhythm with feel and touch throughout the game,” Leonard told Andrew Gray of the Los Angeles Times Husband said. “You can see it, you saw it last year with Luka and Kyrie. They tried to figure it out.”
Leonard said that the team and players need more time to run in on the court. The five-time All-Star said the Clippers will soon find their stride and move on from their defeat.
