It’s unclear whether “Dolly P” and “Smoke Hour Willie Nelson” indicate the two country music superstars will appear on the record. Previous reports suggested Travis Scott might make a cameo on one of the songs, but fans will have to wait until tomorrow to see the final lineup.

Beyoncé kicked off her new era in February with the surprise release of two singles during the Super Bowl – “Texas Hold ‘Em” and “16 Carriages.” “Second Act: Cowboy Carter” is the long-awaited follow-up to 2022’s “Renaissance,” which the singer initially revealed would be a three-part project. While the first project relied heavily on club and dance music, “Act 2” is expected to be a country album, which, as Beyoncé herself explained, came after an incident in which she didn’t feel “popular.” She was inspired to delve deeper into the genre.

She was most likely referring to her 2016 performance at the Country Music Association Awards, where she sang with the Dixie Chicks. The appearance caused controversy in the country community, particularly on social media, with some expressing displeasure at the fact that she was given such a prominent position on the show.

In a lengthy post on Instagram, Beyoncé explained that the incident inspired her to research the origins of country music. “But, as a result of that experience, I gained a deeper understanding of the history of country music and studied our rich musical archives.”

The creation of “Act 2” began five years ago, and in addition to collaborations with Raphael Saadiq, Robert Randolph and Rhiannon Giddens, she has more surprises in store for this album.
