Leahy said Graebner acknowledged there have been “many conversations with networks and studios” and that while they don’t know when or where this will happen, they know the audience is there.
While Bachelor in Paradise features members of the LGBTQ+ community, the flagship series has yet to feature a gay protagonist. But Erlich said the producers did want to explore that.
“We wanted the opportunity to do that,” he said. “The beautiful thing is, love is universal, and so is the frustration of not finding it. We’re excited to have the opportunity to tell the stories of all kinds of people. . ”
Graebner added, “The two most frequently promoted spinoffs during my time on the show were The Bachelor and The Gay Bachelor. We picked up one of them. We’re talking about checking out the other one.” A box.”
